Build Uganda Hackathon 2026 is a one-day innovation and technology event designed to bring together students,

young professionals, developers, designers, innovators, and aspiring entrepreneurs to collaboratively develop

practical technology solutions to real challenges affecting Uganda.

The hackathon will provide participants with an opportunity to move beyond ideas and develop prototypes that

demonstrate how technology can address local problems.

The event will combine innovation, teamwork, mentorship, technical development, networking and pitching,

culminating in presentations before a panel of judges.

The goal is not simply to build technology, but to encourage participants to think about Ugandan problems and build and solutions that can create a meaningful impact
